Petitudo is supporting dog adoption drive with Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) this coming weekend 20th and 21st October 2012. Visit us or share this important event that can help change the lives of these wonderful dogs with a good family and love.

This dog adoption drive starts from 11am to 5pm at Petitudo shop. No worries of hot weather as we are a fully airconditioned pet shop; allowing you to support the event in a cool environment. Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) Background

Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) is an non-profit organization, found in December 2000. They have a great mission to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs in Singapore. (Officially registered with the Registry Of Societies on the 3rd July 2002)
ASD has many activities and programs including rescuing, fostering and re-homing of stray and abandoned dogs, advocating sterilization as a means of controlling the stray population. They also improves the public awareness of the responsibilities involved in pet ownership and highlighting the virtues of our local dogs.

On top of the above activities and programs, they also works with official institutions and other non-governmental organizations to alleviating the plight of the local stray dog population. Regular events are organized to raise funds for veterinary care of rescued dogs and to promote adoption of our local dogs.

As a non-profit, non-governmental organization, all our work is carried out mainly by volunteers and through contributions. Initially comprising of 3 volunteers, the group has now grown to about 20 odd core volunteers.
